How to pay with Zilch

Use Zilch online or in-store.

You can use Zilch to shop online or in-store almost anywhere Visa is accepted.

Before you pay with Zilch, you'll need to choose how you'd like to pay and enable your Zilch card in the app.

How to enable your Zilch card

To enable your Zilch card:

  1. Open the Zilch app.

  2. Search for your store.

  3. Select Online or In-store.

  4. Choose how you want to pay.

  5. Select Enable card for 2 hours.

Your Zilch card will stay enabled for 2 hours.

Your default payment option, such as Pay now, Pay over 6 weeks or Pay monthly, will appear first. You can choose a different payment option before completing your purchase by selecting your current payment option and choosing another option. Available options depend on your eligibility.

If you're shopping online, you'll be taken to the store's website after enabling your card.

If you're shopping in-store, your Zilch card will be ready to use in the app.

You must enable your Zilch card if you want to apply Rewards to a purchase.

How to use Zilch Anywhere

You can use Zilch Anywhere if your store does not appear in the Zilch app.

To use Zilch Anywhere:

  1. Open the Zilch app.

  2. Tap your Zilch card in the top-left corner.

  3. Select Zilch Anywhere.

  4. Choose how you want to pay.

  5. Select Enable card for 2 hours.

Using Zilch Anywhere is different from enabling your Zilch card through a searched store in the Zilch app.

You only enable your Zilch card when you search for a store directly in the Zilch app and enable the card from that store page.

Using Zilch Anywhere may not include the same lower fees or higher Rewards available when you enable your Zilch card through a searched store.

How to pay online with Zilch

You can pay online with Zilch by entering your Zilch card details at checkout.

To pay online with Zilch:

  1. Enable your Zilch card in the app.

  2. Go to the store's checkout page.

  3. Enter your Zilch card details as you would with any Visa card.

How to view your Zilch card details

To view your Zilch card details:

  1. Open the Zilch app.

  2. Go to Account.

  3. Select Zilch card settings.

  4. Select Reveal card details.

You can then copy and paste your Zilch card details into the checkout page.

How to pay in-store with Zilch

You can pay in-store with Zilch anywhere Tap and Pay is supported.

To pay in-store with Zilch:

  1. Open the Zilch app.

  2. Select In-store.

  3. Search for your store.

  4. Choose how you want to pay.

  5. Enable your Zilch card.

  6. Hold your device near the card reader.

Before the payment is completed, you may need to:

  • Unlock your phone

  • Enter your PIN

  • Use Face ID or fingerprint authentication

Rewards and fees when you enable your Zilch card

Enabling your Zilch card in the app may give you access to:

  • Lower fees on eligible Pay over 6 weeks or Pay monthly purchases

  • Higher Rewards on eligible Pay now purchases
