What are Zilch Rewards? | Zilch Help Center

You can earn Rewards on eligible purchases and spend them on future ones.

When you Pay now with Zilch, you can earn up to 5% back in Rewards on the Standard membership plan and up to 6% back in Rewards as a Plus member.

You can save your Rewards and watch your balance grow over time, or use your Rewards whenever you like.

How do I earn Rewards?

You can earn Rewards on eligible purchases when you Pay now with Zilch. T&Cs apply.

You can also earn bonus Rewards by referring a friend.

Zilch Plus members can also earn Rewards when they Pay over time:

Up to 1% when the Zilch card is enabled before checkout
Up to 0.25% when the Zilch card is not enabled before checkout

How many Rewards can I earn?

As a Standard customer, you can earn up to 5% back in Rewards when you search for your store in the Zilch app and enable your Zilch card before checkout.

To earn Rewards on an eligible Pay now purchase:

Open the Zilch app.
Select Online or In-store.
Search for your store.
Select Pay now.
Enable your Zilch card.

If you do not enable your Zilch card, or you use Zilch Anywhere, you will not be eligible for the advertised Rewards rate.

When do I receive Rewards?

Pay now: Rewards are added to your Rewards balance as soon as you have checked out.

Pay over time (Plus members only): Your Rewards will be added to your balance once you've made your final instalment. To receive them, you'll need to have an active Zilch Plus plan.

If any instalment for this purchase is paid late, you won't be eligible to receive Rewards on that purchase.

You can view your Rewards balance in the Zilch app.

How do I use Rewards?

You can use Rewards on eligible Pay now and Pay over time purchases made with a listed store in the Zilch app.

Standard members can spend Rewards with a listed store in the Zilch app.
Extra and Plus members can spend Rewards anywhere Visa is accepted.

To use Rewards:

Open the Zilch app.
Select Online or In-store.
Search for your store.
Choose how you want to pay.
Toggle Rewards on.
Enable your Zilch card.
Complete your purchase using your Zilch card details.

What is the minimum spend when using Rewards?

Minimum purchase amounts apply when using Rewards.

Pay now: no minimum spend
Pay over 6 weeks: minimum purchase amount of £10
Pay monthly: minimum purchase amount of £75

If applying Rewards reduces your purchase total below the minimum purchase amount for the selected payment option, your payment option may change or the purchase may be declined.

Do I still earn Rewards if I use Rewards to pay?

You can still earn Rewards on a purchase where you use Rewards to pay, but you’ll only get Rewards on the portion of the Pay now purchase that is paid for using your Zilch card.

For example, if you make a £10 Pay now purchase and use £2 in Rewards, you can still earn Rewards on the remaining £8 paid using your Zilch card.

Can I use part of my Rewards balance?

No. When you turn Rewards on, your available Rewards balance is applied automatically.

If your Rewards balance is more than the purchase amount, your Rewards will cover the full purchase and any remaining Rewards will stay in your Rewards balance.

If your Rewards balance is less than the purchase amount, all available Rewards will be applied and the remaining balance will be paid using your selected payment option.

What happens to my Rewards if I receive a refund?

If a retailer fully refunds a purchase, any Rewards used on that purchase will be returned to your Rewards balance.

If a retailer partially refunds a purchase that was paid for using both money and Rewards, the money paid towards the purchase will be refunded first.

Once the money paid towards the purchase has been refunded, any Rewards used will be refunded up to the value of the refund amount.
