What should I do if I think I'll miss a payment?

If you do not think you'll be able to make an upcoming payment, please get in touch as soon as possible so we can discuss the support options available to you.

What should I do if I've already missed a payment?

If you've already missed a payment, you can still make a payment in the Zilch app if it has been less than 60 days since the payment due date.

To make a late payment:

  1. Open the Zilch app.

  2. Go to Purchases.

  3. Select the purchase with the missed instalment.

  4. Make your payment.

What happens if I miss a payment?

If you have missed payments on your account, we may place a temporary block on your account until the outstanding balance has been repaid.

While your account is temporarily blocked, you will not be able to make new purchases and your available limit may be subject to change.

What happens if a payment remains unpaid for more than 60 days?

If an instalment remains unpaid for more than 60 days, we may pass your account to a Debt Recovery Agency (DRA).

If the happens, the DRA will work with you to arrange repayment of the outstanding balance.

Does Zilch charge late fees?

No. Zilch does not charge late fees or interest on missed payments.

Where can I view missed or upcoming payments?

You can view missed payments and upcoming payments in the Zilch app.

To view your payments:

  1. Open the Zilch app.

  2. Go to Home

Will missing a payment affect my credit score?

Missing payments can negatively affect your credit score – missing payments may also reduce your Zilch credit limit.
