How do I update my account details?

Find out how to update your personal details in the Zilch app

You can update some account details yourself in the Zilch app. Other account details, such as your email address or name, require additional verification before they can be changed.

How do I change my address or phone number?

You can update your address or phone number in the Zilch app.

To update your address or phone number:

  1. Open the Zilch app.

  2. Go to the Account icon in the top-left corner.

  3. Select Personal details.

  4. Select Edit next to your address or phone number.

  5. Enter your new details.

How do I change my email address?

To update your email address, start a Live Chat in the Zilch app and provide:

  • The reason you're requesting the change

  • A selfie showing your arms and shoulders while holding your valid photo ID

What photo ID can I use to change my email address?

We accept:

  • Passport

  • Driving licence (both sides)

  • National ID (both sides)

  • CitizenCard with PASS logo (both sides)

  • Birth certificate

Photo ID requirements

Make sure your photo ID:

  • Is in date

  • Is clearly visible and not blurry

  • Shows all words clearly

  • Shows all four corners of the document

How do I change my name?

If you've changed your name, for example through marriage or deed poll, you'll need to provide proof of your new name before we can update your account details.

You'll need to provide either marriage, divorce documents or a deed poll. You can also provide a new photo ID showing your latest name.

Unfortunately we are unable to change the name without these documents.

How do I update the billing address on a linked debit card?

You can’t change the billing address on a debit card that is already linked to your Zilch account.

To update a debit card billing address, you'll need to add the debit card again using the correct billing address.

Once added, make this card your default and remove the previously linked card with the incorrect billing address.

To add a debit card with a new billing address:

  1. Open the Zilch app.

  2. Go to the Account icon in the top-left corner.

  3. Tap Payment Settings.

  4. Select Connected debit cards.

  5. Swipe right and tap Add debit card.

  6. Enter your debit card details.

  7. Tap the Billing address field and start typing.

  8. Select your address from the list, or tap Enter manually if you cannot find it.

  9. Tap Confirm and update.

  10. Select Continue.

  11. Review the details.

  12. Tap Add debit card.

Once a debit card has been linked and confirmed, the billing address cannot be edited.
