Pay over 6 weeks lets you spread the cost of a purchase across four instalments over six weeks instead of paying the full amount upfront with Pay now.
Pay over 6 weeks is available for purchases of £10 or more. Depending on your Zilch plan, you may pay either 25% or 50% upfront at checkout.
How Pay over 6 weeks works
When you use Pay over 6 weeks, Zilch splits your purchase into four payments:
Your first payment is taken at checkout
The remaining three payments are taken automatically every two weeks
Your full repayment period lasts six weeks in total
Example: Pay over 6 weeks with 25% upfront
For a £300 purchase using Pay over 6 weeks with a 25% upfront payment:
£75 at checkout plus any applicable fees
£75 after two weeks
£75 after four weeks
£75 after six weeks
The total repayment amount for the £300 purchase is £300 plus any applicable fees.
Example: Pay over 6 weeks with 50% upfront
For a £300 purchase using Pay over 6 weeks with a 50% upfront payment:
£150 at checkout plus any applicable fees
£50 after two weeks
£50 after four weeks
£50 after six weeks
The total repayment amount for the £300 purchase is £300 plus any applicable fees.

Pay over 6 weeks may include a fee depending on how you use Pay over 6 weeks in the Zilch app.
If you enable your Zilch card before paying
If you search for your store in the Zilch app and enable your Zilch card before making a purchase:
Purchases under £75: £0–£3.50 fee
Purchases over £75: an additional £1 fee applies
If you use Zilch Anywhere or do not enable your Zilch card first
If you use Zilch Anywhere, or complete a purchase without enabling your Zilch card first:
Purchases under £75: £3.75 fee
Purchases over £75: an additional £1 fee applies
You may be able to reduce or avoid Pay over 6 weeks fees by searching for your store in the Zilch app and enabling your Zilch card before paying.
No interest or late fees
Pay over 6 weeks has no interest and no late fees. If a payment fails, Zilch will retry the payment but will never charge you extra.
Snooze a payment
If you need more time, you can delay an instalment using Snooze. Learn more about Snooze here.
Pay early
You can pay off any instalment early at any time through the app. Paying early can help to increase your available credit limit.
Pay by Bank
You can pay any instalment over £22 directly from your bank account using Pay by Bank, instead of your linked debit card. This option is available at the point of payment in the app.
Minimum purchase amount for Pay over 6 weeks
Your purchase must be at least £10 to use Pay over 6 weeks.
If your final purchase amount falls below £10 after applying Rewards or discounts, your purchase may be processed as Pay now instead.

Tap Zilch Anywhere

Complete your purchase at checkout as usual

Why was my purchase processed as Pay now instead of Pay over 6 weeks?
If your purchase was processed as Pay now instead of Pay over 6 weeks, or a different payment method was used, check the following settings and purchase requirements.
Check your smart settings
If you do not open the Zilch app and enable your Zilch card before paying, your purchase will follow your current smart settings.
To make sure your purchase uses Pay over 6 weeks, check that your smart settings are set to Pay over 6 weeks before completing your purchase.
Check your purchase amount
Pay over 6 weeks is only available for purchases of £10 or more.
If your final purchase total drops below £10 after Rewards are applied, your purchase will automatically be processed as Pay now instead.
Section 75 protection
Pay over 6 weeks purchases are covered by Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act, giving you additional purchase protection on eligible transactions.
