Signing up to Zilch is quick and easy and can be completed in the Zilch app.
If you don't already have the Zilch app, download it from the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android.
When you sign up to Zilch, we'll run a soft credit check as part of the application process – a soft credit check will not affect your credit score.
As a responsible lender, we use a soft credit check to help us understand what you may be able to afford.

A valid UK debit card
A UK postal address
A mobile phone number
An email address
To issue your Zilch card, we'll also need:
Proof of ID
Proof of address

To use Zilch, you'll need to meet our eligibility criteria.
For example:
You must be at least 18 years old
You must be a UK resident
You can only have one Zilch account
You must pass the electronic verification and soft credit checks
You must pass our IDV verifications checks
Zilch eligibility depends on the information you provide during sign-up, including the results of a soft credit check.
