You can view your Zilch card details, manage your Zilch card and troubleshoot any Zilch card issues in the Zilch app.

How do I view my Zilch card details?

You can view your Zilch card number, expiry date and CVC at any time in the Zilch app.

To view your Zilch card details:

  1. Open the Zilch app.

  2. Tap your Zilch card.

  3. Tap Reveal card details.

  4. Enter your PIN or use Face ID to reveal your card details.

You can also view your Zilch card details by going to:

Account > Zilch card settings > Card details

Why isn't my Zilch card working online?

If your Zilch card is not working online, check that you're using the latest Zilch card details shown in the Zilch app, including:

  • Card number

  • Expiry date

  • CVC

  • Name on card

If you've previously saved your Zilch card with a retailer or browser, older card details may still be stored.

Updating your saved card details with the latest details shown in the Zilch app may resolve the issue.

Why isn't my Zilch card working in-store?

To use your Zilch card in-store, you'll need to add your Zilch card to:

  • Apple Wallet

  • Google Wallet

  • Samsung Wallet

Also check that:

  • Contactless payments are enabled on your device

  • Your phone is unlocked before you pay

  • Your device is held steady near the card reader

Could my Zilch account be restricted?

Your Zilch account may be temporarily restricted if:

  • You still need to complete identity checks

  • You have overdue payments

  • Fraud has been reported on your account

A restricted Zilch account may prevent you from making new purchases.

Why have my Zilch card details changed?

Your Zilch card details may have been updated as part of improvements with Visa. This is a standard system update and isn't related to fraud or a card replacement.

If you've saved your Zilch card details with online stores or subscriptions, you may need to update those saved details using the latest Zilch card details shown in the app.

Why is my Zilch card CVC not working?

A Zilch card CVC may not work if a website still has an older version of your Zilch card details saved.

Make sure the card number and CVC both match the latest Zilch card details shown in the Zilch app.

Entering your CVC incorrectly

If you enter your CVC incorrectly several times, your card may be temporarily blocked for security reasons. This is an automatic protection measure to keep your account safe.

If this happens, open a chat with us in the Zilch app and we'll get your card unblocked for you.

To avoid this, double-check your CVC before entering it — you can always find your up-to-date card details by going to:

  1. Home

  2. Tap your card

  3. Reveal card details.

What happens when my Zilch card expires?

We'll automatically issue a new Zilch card before your current Zilch card expires.

Your upcoming instalments won't be affected.

You may need to:

  • Update your digital wallet

  • Update saved card details with online stores or subscriptions

What should I do if I think my Zilch card has been compromised?

If you notice suspicious activity on your Zilch card, please get in touch as soon as possible.

We can cancel your Zilch card and usually issue a replacement card within two working days.

Can I cancel my virtual Zilch card?

If you no longer want to use Zilch, you can deactivate your account in the Zilch app.

When your account is deactivated, your Zilch card will be cancelled automatically.
