There are a few of reasons why your Zilch Card might have declined when you tried to make a purchase. No worries, here are our solutions.
Reason: You didn’t enable your Zilch Card.
Solution: Log in to your Zilch account via the App or via our website and select the retailer you want to shop with by tapping on their tile or using the search bar. Choose how you want to pay - in one or in four and enable your card. That’s it, you’re good to go!

Reason: You had insufficient funds to cover your purchase.
Solution: Zilch is linked to your debit card. Before making a purchase, please ensure you have the funds on your debit card to cover what you want to buy.
If you want to pay in four installments, remember the first payment of 25% to 50% is taken at checkout. For example, if you are making a pay in four purchase worth $100, make sure you have enough to cover the first installment upfront.
If you want to pay in one, please make sure the debit card linked to your Zilch account contains enough funds to cover the entire purchase.
Reason: You had an overdue payment or there is a hold on your account.
Solution: We’ve put a temporary hold on your Zilch Card because you missed a payment. If you believe this might be the reason, you can contact the Support Team to confirm.
