When you use Zilch, payments are taken from the debit card linked to your account.
You can check your linked debit card, upcoming payments and repayment schedules at any time in the Zilch app.
You can use Zilch online or in-store wherever Visa is accepted.
When are Zilch payments taken?
When your payment is taken depends on how you choose to pay.
Pay now repayments
If you choose Pay now, the full purchase amount is taken from your linked debit card at checkout.
Pay over 6 weeks repayments
If you choose Pay over 6 weeks, you'll pay either 25% or 50% upfront, plus any applicable fees, at checkout.
The remaining balance is then split into three instalments taken every two weeks over a total of six weeks.
Pay monthly repayments
If you choose Pay over 3 months, Pay over 6 months or Pay over 12 months, you'll pay 25% upfront, plus any applicable fees, at checkout.
The remaining balance is then split into equal monthly instalments.

You can view upcoming payment dates and repayment schedules at any time in the Zilch app.
To view upcoming payments:
Open the Zilch app.
Go to Purchases.
Select a purchase.
From the purchase details screen, you can view:
Upcoming payments
Payment due dates
Completed payments

Yes. You can make an early payment at any time in the Zilch app.
You can choose to pay:
One instalment
Multiple instalments
Your remaining balance

To make an early payment:
Open the Zilch app.
Go to Purchases.
Select the purchase you want to repay.
Choose the payment or instalments you'd like to pay.
If you use Apple Pay, do not select your Zilch card as the payment method.
Once the purchase has been fully repaid, your available credit will update automatically.

Any applicable fees are shown before you confirm a purchase.
Zilch fees are usually taken at checkout or included within your repayment schedule, depending on the payment option you choose.

Make sure there is enough money available on your linked debit card before each payment due date.
If you need to update your linked debit card, or add an alternative card, the linked debit card must:
Be in your name
Use the same billing address as your Zilch account
For security reasons, repeated debit card changes may trigger additional account checks.
