If Tap and Pay is not working when you try to pay in-store with Zilch, follow the steps below before attempting your payment again.
1. Check that your Zilch card is enabled

Tap and Pay will not work unless your Zilch card has been enabled in the Zilch app.
To enable your Zilch card:
Open the Zilch app.
Search for your store.
Select Online or In-store.
Choose how you want to pay.
Select Enable card for 2 hours.
Your Zilch card will remain enabled for 2 hours.
Note: If you enabled your card more than 2 hours ago, the window will have expired and your card will no longer be active for Tap and Pay. Just repeat the steps above to re-enable it for another 2 hours before trying your payment again.

Tap and Pay requires your Zilch card to be added to your digital wallet correctly.
Check that your Zilch card has been added to your device's supported digital wallet before attempting payment again.

Some devices require your phone to be unlocked before a Tap and Pay payment can be completed.
If Tap and Pay isn’t working, unlock your phone before holding it near the card reader.You should also make sure your Zilch card is set as the default payment card in your digital wallet, or manually select it before tapping:
iPhone: Open the Wallet app, press and hold your Zilch card, and tap Set as Default Card.
Android: Open Google Wallet, tap your Zilch card, and select Set as default for contactless.

Tap and Pay payments may take a few moments to register.

Near Field Communication (NFC) is the technology that allows your phone to make contactless payments.
Check your device settings to make sure NFC is available on your device and switched on.

Tap and Pay payments will not work if there is a restriction on your Zilch account.
For example, you may be unable to make new purchases if:
You have too many overdue payments
Your Zilch account is under review for security reasons
Your available balance or spending limit is too low for the transaction amount
